You probably have a lot of questions now that you are ready to go for your balloon flight such as how cold is it going to be in the basket, what should I wear and what can I bring along for the ride? Here's some answers to some of the most common questions we run into, but if you don't find what you're looking for, just give us a call.
What type of clothing should I wear for a balloon flight?
Typically you will want to dress in layers. The temperature in the balloon during the flight will not be all that different from that on the ground. However, after the sun comes up in the morning, or as the sun sets at night, the temperature can change rapidly.
Also, please be sure to wear sturdy, lace up shoes. Please no sandals, flip-flops or heels of any kind.
Can I bring a camera during our flight?
Absolutely, but please kepe in mind that you are responsible for it and for any damage tat may occur if t is dropped, rattled around, etc. during the flight. We also recommend that it have a wrist band that can be wrapped around your arm at all times.
Are spectators allowed?
Absolutely! We welcome any and all spectators who wish to come out and watch. If they wish to follow along on the chase, we will brief them on the proper procedures for following the balloon without interfering with the Chase Team, or other traffic on the roads.
Can we help crew the balloon during inflation and packup?
Yes, but it is not required. For each of our flights, we will bring out experienced crew that can, and will, handle the balloon safely. But if you wish to help out and get involved, we welcome that and will coach you in how you can help be a part of the process. afterall, what better way to grow our sport than to get new people involved.
